The Ohio Northern University Mobile Health Clinic made its first stop at the Union County Fairgrounds Wednesday for a COVID-19 vaccination clinic. The clinic is staffed by ONU pharmacy students and faculty, who will administer approximately 500 doses each day. The RV houses refrigerators and freezers that store the vaccine as it travels throughout the state, though shots will still be given using a drive-thru model. The ONU Mobile Clinic will be in Union County every Wednesday in April and May. Appointments are scheduled through gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov, not through the Union County Health Department.
