Streets in uptown Marysville were blocked off Thursday night so that the community could rally behind the Marysville High School Football team ahead of today’s regional final. A few hundred students and adults gathered on North Main Street, between Fifth and Sixth streets, to listen to members of the football program offer words of motivation. Above, the MHS cheerleading squad performs as members of the band play the fight song. Below, captain Gavin Rohrs, left, addresses the crowd from a flatbed trailer, as fellow captains, from left to right, Gabe Powers, Colton Powers, Erryl Will, Tanner Powers and Ben Bickerstaff watch. At right, former longtime MHS grid coach Rich Weiskircher, left, and current coach Brent Johnson look on near the end of the rally. Both men addressed the crowd.
