Police responded to a suicide threat in the 200 block of W. Third Street at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire & EMS District, along with the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a report of a possible injury crash at 5:59 a.m. Tuesday. This occurred in the 23000 block of Route 4 involving a 2013 Chevrolet Suburban that was struck from behind by a 2017 Nissan Versa. The driver of the Nissan, Dillon M. Pryor, 23, of Delaware was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies along with Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 12000 block of Watkins Road at 8:33 a.m. Tuesday. The fire was extinguished upon the units arriving.
A deputy went to Belmont Correctional Institute in St. Clairsville to take custody of Tyler R. Buckler, 30, of Grove City on an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department were sent to a residence in the 9000 block of U.S. 33 to investigate a report of an intoxicated person at 9:28 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and units from the Union Township Fire Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the area of Route 38 near Streng Road to investigate a report of an injury crash at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday. The Ohio State Highway Patrol took the report.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 7000 block of Scioto Road to investigate a report of a missing juvenile at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday. After further investigation the juvenile returned home and was transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center for being unruly.
Deputies were sent to the area of U.S. 33 and Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Mercury Mountaineer that struck a guardrail at 6:24 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Darby Boulevard West to take possession of recovered property that was located at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire & EMS district responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Betty Lane to investigate a report of a male who had possibly overdosed at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to a residence in the 19000 block of Westlake Lee Road to investigate a report of harassment via text message at 10:31 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 7000 block of Dogwood Drive to investigate a report of a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 11:27 p.m. Tuesday.
