The Heart of Ohio Jr. Golf Association began its 2019 season on Tuesday.
The first tournament of the campaign was held at Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Upper Sandusky.
Justin Brackenridge of Fairbanks placed second in the 16-18 age bracket with a score of 74.
Other local golfers finished as follows in that division:
-Travis Brake, Fairbanks, eighth, 90;
-Logan Bocsy, Fairbanks, 10th, 92.
Alex Crowe of Fairbanks was the runner-up in the 13-15 age group with a 79.
He was the only local golfer in the younger bracket.
The next Heart of Ohio event will be held on Monday at the Golf Club of Bucyrus.
