The track and field regular season came to a close for Fairbanks and Triad on Thursday.
Both teams competed in the Ohio Heritage Conference championships at Mechanicsburg High School.
Both Fairbanks teams took second place.
The boys finished with 152 points, while the Lady Panthers tallied 143.
West Liberty-Salem won both meets with 154 points (boys) and 204 points (girls). Triad teams each finished in sixth place. The boys scored 20 points, while the Lady Cardinals notched 16.
Fairbanks took the top spot in the boys North Division in eight of the 16 events.
The Panthers captured first place in the high jump, discus and shot put, thanks to Andy Higinbotham, Bryant Fannin and Billy Reed-Bodey.
Higinbotham cleared 5-6 in the high jump.
Fannin tossed the discus 124-10, while Reed-Bodey heaved the shot 44-11.5.
Gage Wilson dominated in the hurdle events, taking first place in each the 110 and 300.
Wilson finished the 110 hurdles in 16.45 and the 300 in 40.71.
The Panthers won the 400 and 800-meter races.
Kaleb Bosworth finished the 400-meter dash in 40.71 and Dylan Tobe broke the tape the 800-meter run in 2:05.
The 4×400 team of Trey Good, Kyler Wilson, Gage Wilson and Bosworth took first place with a time of 3:33.
Macy Miller was the only Lady Panther to finish in first place.
She took the top spot in the 100 and 300 hurdles and high jump.
She finished the 100-meter hurdles in 16.11, the 300-meter hurdles in 47.05 and the high jump with a leap of 5-0.

-3200-meter run, Ziegler, third, 10:43;

The Cardinals had two athletes finish in the top three.
Tyler Gross took second place in the boys discus with a toss of 114-8.
Cayla Eaton was second in the girls 300-meter hurdles with a time of 50.02 and in the high jump with a leap of 5-0.
