The Panthers of Fairbanks upped their baseball record to 7-4 on Friday with a 3-1 victory over Greenon.
FHS plated two runs in the third and added another run in the fifth.
Greenon tallied its lone run in the sixth.
Jaeden Eickhoff fanned two and issued two walks during the complete-game victory.
He had one of FHS’ eight hits.
Also hitting safely for the Panthers were Braxton Wilhelm, Connor Pack, Mason Cushman, Hayden Hoover, Alex Blumenschein (two hits) and Grant Rausch.
The Panthers will travel to Springfield Catholic Central on Monday.

Lady Panthers win
Fairbanks’ softball squad got back on the winning track with a 7-2 victory over Greenon.
The visitors held a 1-0 lead in the third until the Lady Panthers (5-9 overall and 2-5 in the Ohio Heritage Conference) scored three times in the bottom of the inning.
FHS took a 5-1 lead after four frames and plated two more runs in the sixth.
Allison Kise and Gracie Pyers each had three hits for Fairbanks, while Madi Montenaro, Anna Higbee and Riley Blevins each tallied two.
Kise and Higbee each drove in two runs.
FHS will play at Springfield Catholic Central on Monday.

Lady Cardinals win
Triad’s softball team scored a 10-3 triumph over Springfield Catholic Central.
The Lady Cardinals (6-3 overall and 5-2 in the Ohio Heritage Conference) plated eight runs in the home half of the first inning and were never threatened.
Shelby Sheets went two-for-three at the plate for Triad, while Holly Alvoid doubled.
Sidney Louck was the winning pitcher.
The Lady Cardinals will travel to Northwestern for a doubleheader today.
