The Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association began its 2020 season on Thursday.
The event was held at Green Acres Golf Course in Marion.
Alexander Crowe of Fairbanks tied for fifth in the 16-18 age bracket.
His score of 73 matched that of Marion Pleasant’s Alex Pratt.
Andrew Crowe of FHS was a stroke behind them at 74.
Nathan Stewart of Delaware Christian won the age bracket with a 66 on the par-60 course.
Chase Brackenridge of Fairbanks shot a 76. He tied with Thomas Kaufman of River Valley and Logan Keller of Galion for fourth place in the 13-15 age group.
That tournament was won by Galion’s Nicholas McMullen, who shot a 67.
William Reiser of Marysville tied with Asher Gates of River Valley for runner-up honors in the 12-and-under category.
They both carded scores of 40.
Patton Allen of Delaware also shot a 40 and won the tournament on a one-hole playoff.
Anderson Reiser and Grady Wisecup, both of Marysville, matched scores of 45 to tie for fourth.
Jensen Stover of North Union shot a 70 in the youngest age bracket and finished 13th.
The next tournament will be Monday at the Golf Club of Bucyrus.
