North Union’s Tyler Krebehenne earned player of the year honors for baseball in the Central Buckeye Conference. Krebehenne was named the Mad River Division’s top player.

The Central Buckeye Conference recently announced its all-league teams in baseball and softball.
Jonathan Alder and North Union each had an athlete named as a player of the year.
Ashton Martin, an infielder and pitcher for the Pioneers, was selected by league coaches as player of the year in the Kenton Trail Division.
North Union’s Tyler Krebehenne, an infielder and pitcher for the Wildcats, earned the same honor in the Mad River Division.
Martin led the CBC in hitting with a .505 batting average.
He went 7-0 on the mound with a 0.82 ERA.
Krebehenne had a .408 batting average and went 5-2 as a pitcher with an ERA of 1.23.
In addition to Martin, Jonathan Alder placed four others on the first team.
Named to the team were outfielder Chase Chopin, infielder Grant Horne, pitcher Greg Kennedy and infielder Garrett Roach.
Outfielder Cam Potter and catcher Jace Schrock were named to the second team.
Pitcher Mason Keaton was a special mention honoree.
North Union catcher Landon Converse was a first-team selection in the Mad River Division.
Earning second-team honors for the Wildcats were pitcher/infielder Mason Bright, outfielder Caden Potts and infielder/pitcher Drew Schmidt.
Outfielder Connor Lassiter was a special mention pick.
Jonathan Alder had two players make first team in Kenton Trail softball, while North Union had three players on the Mad River Division team.
Pitcher Alyssa Miller and infielder Evan Platfoot represented the Lady Pioneers on the first team, while pitcher Reese DeCamp, infielder Kennedy Harrah and outfielder Kale Keigley of NU were first team in the Mad River.
On the Kenton Trail second team from Jonathan Alder were outfielder Kiersten Dolby, infielder Shanna Higgins, catcher Maggie McCoy and infielder Natalie Neumeier.
Outfielder Abby Bush was named to the special mention list.
North Union players on the second team in the Mad River were catcher Kailin McElroy and infielder Zoe Wedding.
Infielder/outfielder Emma Padavano was named to the special mention list.
