Marysville’s girls varsity basketball team fell to Massillon Jackson, 50-26, on Thursday during the opening round of the Jackson Holiday Tournament.
The Lady Monarchs (5-5) got off to a very slow start and trailed, 18-5, by the end of the opening period.
Jackson took a 30-10 lead at halftime and went into the fourth quarter with a 43-17 margin.
Tinley Graves led MHS with eight points.
The Lady Monarchs will continue competition in the tournament today.
