The North Union girls bowling team missed a state tournament berth by 384 pins after taking seventh place at the Division II Central District Tournament Thursday at HP Lanes.
The Lady Cats finished with a team score of 2,931.
The top two teams at the Central District Tournament moved on to the state meet.
Worthington Christian won the tournament with a score of 3,429.
Northmor took second place with a score of 3,315.
Of the six-bowler crew the Lady Cats sent to the district tournament, Kendra Nicol finished in 11th place overall with a three-game score of 484.
Amelia England finished in 24th place with a three-game total of 438.
Lindsey Anderson took 29th with a score of 428 and Kaylee Smith finished in 50th place with 359 pins.
Savannah Davis and Kelsey Rausch were alternates for the team who didn’t turn in three-game scores.
The Lady Cats finished the 2019-20 season with a 3-15 record.
