Memories of Growing Up in Marysville

Boyd was born in Marysville in 1932, graduated from Marysville High School in 1950, and lived the greater part of his life here.
Rug beaters
Some time ago, I wrote about cleaning the wallpaper in our house during the 1930s. That was part of our “spring cleaning” routine, and when I got old enough to help do the cleaning, I had a great time. But there was another spring housecleaning chore that was even more fun. It was cleaning our rugs.
