The concert will take place at Marysville High School, on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The “Voices of Ohio” choir had to cancel its planned performance for that night. The local Aladdin Shrine Dixie-Land Band will present its special program titled “Dixie -Land music” to help Shiner hospitals around the world. Reports indicate a driving complaint led to MPD locating a female in medical distress. She was transported to Memorial Hospital. Both Miller and Williamson went 8-1, with North Union’s setback at the hands of Indian Lake as their only loss. Publisher Kevin Behrens, reporter Mac Cordell and sports writer Aleksei Pavloff each finished with 7-2 records. Behrens leads the overall race with a 63-19 record. The 2021 volleyball season came to an end for Jonathan Alder on Wednesday. The No. 8-seeded Lady Pioneers fell 3-1 at No. 3 Hamilton Township. Action came during the Division II tournament. Scores were 16-25, 25-21, 15-25, 19-25. Lizzie Lombardi concluded her Pioneer career with 11 kills. Ellie Heisler finished with 18 digs. “Unfortunately, we did not play our best,” said Jonathan Alder coach Joe Ross. “However, I am still very proud of our seniors. “We went 8-2 over our last 10 matches and had a very strong finish.” The Lady Pioneers concluded the season with a 16-8 record.
