According to Marysville Police Department reports: Police responded to a report of theft by deception in the 800 block of Milcrest Drive at 9:34 a.m. Thursday. Last weekend, the Union County Joint Recreation District fields on County Home Road were host to the 2021 Dean Lowry Memorial Marysville Mitts baseball tournament. The UCJRD complex has been a work in progress that started years ago with one pod of four baseball diamonds and soccer fields. As of today, the complex has two pods of ball diamonds, for a total of eight, as well as a rugby field and an area for cricket, in addition to the soccer fields. Reports indicate she was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which witnesses called and reported that an intoxicated female was “staggering and falling down in the parking lot of the old Community Market.” Mohammed H. According to Plain City Police Department reports: An officer was dispatched to East Main Street at 5:14 p.m. June 13 in reference to a 911 follow-up. An officer was dispatched to the north area of Pastime Park at 4:22 p.m. June 13 in reference to a 911 follow-up. An officer was on patrol and observed a loose canine in the area of Maple Street at 3:56 p.m. June 13. The officer was able to catch the canine and it was taken back to the police department kennel. Owners of the Low Farm on Hinton Mill Road shared their patriotic spirit on Flag Day Monday by decorating their bales with the red, white and blue colors of the American flag. The holiday, celebrated on June 14 each year, celebrates the adoption of the U.S. flag on that date in 1777. Dina Hodnichak announces the engagement of her son, Nathan Hodnichak, to Cheyenne Cowan. The bride-to-be and groom-to-be both currently reside in Fort Worth, Texas. The bride’s parents are Michael and April Cowan of Cross Plains, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in zoology. The groom’s parents are Jim and Dina Hodnichak of Marysville. He is a 2011 graduate of Marysville High School and a 2015 graduate of Marshall University with a degree in environmental science. The reporting person advised he was bitten by a dog while on a run. Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Neila Kay McCarty, 71, of E.
