According to police reports: Aden A. Hassan, 59, was arrested about 2:55 a.m., Wednesday, on U.S. 33 in Marysville. Hassan is charged with driving under suspension or license restriction. Gregory Crislip, 45, was arrested about 1:34 p.m., Wednesday, in the 1000 block of North Main Street in Marysville, charged with theft. At 12:26 p.m., Wednesday, police were called to the 100 block of East Fifth Street. A series of road and ditch improvements will take place on state Route 161, between Plain City and Dublin. Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will close state Route 161, between U.S. 42 and U.S. 33. The road will be closed to allow crews to repair and replace damaged culverts. ODOT officials are recommending drivers use U.S. 42 to U.S. 33 to route 161 as a detour. Plain City could be losing a traffic light and village officials are not pleased. At Monday night’s village council meeting, it was announced that the Ohio Department of Transportation would be eliminating the traffic light and crossing on West Main Street (Route 161) in front of the former Plain City Elementary School. MITCHELL –––– The woman who allegedly sold the drugs that killed a Marysville woman is now under indictment. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Latoya Blanche Mitchell, 33, of 146 Silver Maple Dr., Delaware. According to court documents, Mitchell sold crack cocaine and heroin to Sydney Allmon. Union County Prosecutor David Phillips said Allmon and another individual went to Delaware to buy the drugs. A Columbus man and woman are facing felony charges in Union County in connection with a series of retail thefts. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Erika Ann Fowler, 34, and Terry Rose, 38, each charged with two counts of theft and one count each of receiving stolen property and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
