For the Marysville Lady Monarchs, the basketball season came to a close when they were defeated by Licking Heights, 44-41, during the opening round of the Division I tournament on Saturday night.

(Journal-Tribune photo by Sam Dillon) –––– The North Union Wildcats are closing in on the end of the regular season and one could say that it is already a successful season compared to last year. The Wildcats have been rebuilding their basketball team for the past two years to try and get back on top when they won the Mid Ohio Athletic Conference Red Division title during the 2013-14 season.

A spectator of the game may have a different opinion of how the game was played, regardless of the outcome.
