Gilead team 60-12, but couldn’t overcome the Spartans, who won 45-28.

When the final whistle blew, Jonathan Alder had won the game with ease, 54-34.

Thousands of hunters were expected to be out during the first day of the annual shoot. It is the time of the year when the fields and woods will be filled with hunter orange-wearing men and women on a quest to bag a deer. The seven-day long gun season will kick off on Monday as more than 25,000 hunters are estimated to be out on opening day.
HUDSON –––– The journey of playing basketball will continue after this season for North Union High School senior Autumn Hudson. The 6-4 center has accepted an athletic scholarship to continue her career at Eastern Michigan University.
