Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were involved in a high-speed chase Saturday that went from Logan County to Scottslawn Road. According to officials, troopers attempted to stop someone in a light blue 1999 Ford Taurus Saturday at 11:45 a.m. for speeding southbound on U.S. 33. The driver then led two OSP cars on a chase that held at about 105 mph. Troopers slowed when they entered Marysville city limits due to safety. Fairbanks’ girls soccer team improved to 7-1-2 overall and 5-0-1 in the Ohio Heritage Conference with a 3-0 win over Mechanicsburg on Thursday. Sarah Young, Molly Olson and Emma Cook each had a goal.
