A Richwood man could be facing more than four decades in prison for allegedly trafficking in a variety of drugs. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Timothy Rashun Island, 38, of 107 Forrest Lane, Richwood, charging him with two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, two counts of corrupting another with drugs and one count each of trafficking in heroin, tampering with evidence, possession of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activities. Plain City is looking at a proposal to bring park and pool concessions in-house. Village Administrator Nathan Cahall recently reported that in the past a vendor has serviced concessions at the aquatic center. He said that vendor has elected not to renew the agreement. Linda Granger, park and pool coordinator for the village, said the vendor was a woman who staffed the concessions stand herself. Dublin City School District has announced it will break ground on a new elementary school in Jerome Township. The district is planning an elementary school for Jerome Village, to open in fall of 2020. Dublin City Schools has set a ground breaking for April 12. As part of the agreement to allow the development, Jerome Village donated 43 acres off Ravenhill Parkway for the elementary school. In inmate at the Ohio Reformatory for Women is facing additional prison time after allegedly sending threats to the county prosecutor. A Union County Grand Jury has indicted Amy Elizabeth Resch, 28. Resch is charged with one count each of intimidation of attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case and retaliation. Less than six months after assaulting a local teen, a Marysville man has been indicted, charged with attacking him again. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Jeffrey Febus, 48, of 329 S. Plum St., Marysville. He is charged with one count of felony domestic violence. According to court documents, on Jan. 9, police received a 911 call about a domestic dispute. On Monday, Hayley Breann Rausch, 24, of 20820 Wolford Maskill Road, pleaded guilty to one count of endangering children.
