In inmate at the Ohio Reformatory for Women is facing additional prison time after allegedly sending threats to the county prosecutor. A Union County Grand Jury has indicted Amy Elizabeth Resch, 28. Resch is charged with one count each of intimidation of attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case and retaliation. Less than six months after assaulting a local teen, a Marysville man has been indicted, charged with attacking him again. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Jeffrey Febus, 48, of 329 S. Plum St., Marysville. He is charged with one count of felony domestic violence. According to court documents, on Jan. 9, police received a 911 call about a domestic dispute. When investigators arrived, they spoke to a woman and her 14-year-old son. The woman is Febus’ live-in girlfriend. Moments before her trial was set to begin, a Marysville woman admitted to actions that led to the death of a 2-month-old baby in her care. On Monday, Hayley Breann Rausch, 24, of 20820 Wolford Maskill Road, pleaded guilty to one count of endangering children. Her trial had been set to begin Monday and potential jury members had already been seated in the courtroom On Jan. 24, 2017, Rausch was babysitting eight-week-old Taylor Weber. Kyle Edward Nelson, 25, of 811 Hickory Dr., Marysville is charged with one count each of involuntary manslaughter, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in drugs and trafficking in marijuana. Recently our newspaper received a letter to the editor from a Marysville High School student. The correspondence got me thinking about a letter I wrote to my local paper as a teen. Several members of a local family are in jail on charges involving the alleged rape and endangerment of a group of children. The Union County Grand Jury has indicted Charles Calvin York, his brother Jeff A. York and Jeff’s wife, Sheri York. A state disciplinary board has suspended a local attorney for her conduct. The Supreme Court of Ohio’s Board of Professional Conduct found that Natalie Jonnelle Bahan acted inappropriately when she tried to establish a client-lawyer relationship with Rosalie Kennedy after she was arrested for murder. The board wrote that Bahan, a Bellefontaine based attorney with an office at 122 E. Fifth St., “demonstrated a selfish motive in that her actions were clearly spurred by her self-interest.” The board suspended Bahan from practicing law for six months.
