The Marysville High School wrestling team will recognize two former MHS grapplers who are being inducted into the school’s athletic Hall of Fame. The Monarchs will honor Josh Palivoda and Noah Forrider. Both will be inducted into the HOF this evening. The recognition is scheduled for this morning, prior to the Monarchs’ home matches against Dublin Scioto, Westland and Centerville. Action will begin at 10 a.m. with MHS facing Westland and Scioto and Centerville going up against each other. Round two will feature the opening-round winners against each other. State-ranked Springfield Catholic Central outscored Fairbanks’ boys hoopsters, 23-7, during the third quarter. That allowed the 15-0 Irish (who are ranked No. 4 in this week’s AP state poll in Division IV) to claim a 64-50 victory. The Panthers held a 13-9 margin at the end of the opening period and took a 29-25 advantage at halftime.
