Marysville’s varsity boys basketball team dropped a heart-breaking 46-44 verdict to Delaware Hayes on Saturday. The contest was a tight battle the entire way. MHS held a 13-12 edge after the opening quarter and the score was deadlocked at 22-all by halftime. The Pacers went on top, 36-35, by the end of the third period. Marysville hit 17 field goals, of which four were three-pointers. The Pacers also sank four trifectas out of their 16 shots from the floor.
