By Mac Cordell and Kayleen Petrovia Following a fifth, lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 in the county, the Union County Health Department is working to update residents with a new website. The health department indicated the affected individual is an adult female. As of noon Thursday, Union County reports four adult females and one adult male have tested positive for the virus. UCHD Public Information Officer Jennifer Thrush noted the Ohio Department of Health dashboard, at coronavirus.ohio.gov, had not yet listed the fifth case as of press time Friday. Union Rural Electric Cooperative (URE), an electric and natural gas distribution cooperative serving Union County, is returning more than $3.55 million back to its consumer-members. Most members will receive the refund in the form of a credit on their April bills to help offset some of the financial hardship their members might be facing due to COVID-19. Since URE is not-for-profit, it returns money to its members annually in the form of capital credits. Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Miller of Mink Street Road near Ostrander are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Mr. Miller and the former Juanita Cremeans were married on April 1, 1960 by the Rev. Don Webb at the Magnetic Springs United Methodist Church. Mr. Miller is retired from the Scotts Company in Marysville and Mrs. Miller is retired from Marion General Home Health Nursing in Marion.
