According to Marysville Police Department reports: Police responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of Watkins Glen Lane Tuesday at 10:21 a.m. Complainants stated their accounts were account and paychecks were missing. Police responded to a report of individuals shooting a bb gun in the 600 block of Milford Avenue Tuesday at 5:01 p.m. Police responded to Memorial Hospital for a report of a juvenile that overdosed Wednesday at 4:24 a.m. Police assisted medical personnel with an intoxicated male in the 100 block of North Main Street Thursday at 12:52 a.m. According to Union County Sheriff’s Office…
Roads were closed, trees poles and homes were damaged and power was out in portions of northern Union County after a severe thunderstorm moved through the area Tuesday evening. Officials said they believe straight line winds broke 10 large transmission line poles (left photo) on Route 37, between Richwood and Essex. Officials said additional power poles were damaged throughout the area. Ohio Edison estimated the damage took out power for 1,200 residents. Crews worked to re-route power to the village by midnight. The 58th reunion of the John Parthemore Morse and Mary Jane Mitchell Morse family was held on June 23, 2019 at the home of Pam Morse and Teresa Wallis. The business meeting was conducted by President Chad Morse. All officers were retained for the next year. Each individual who was present introduced themselves and told others attending a little about their family, along with anything interesting that had occurred with them during the past year. Scottslawn Road, from Route 736 to the area between the Heritage grain facility entrance and the railroad crossing at the Scotts plant, closed Monday so work on the road could begin. The road will be widened and resurfaced. It will include the addition of moving utility poles and new turn lanes as well as a minor curve realignment. Officials say construction will be done in two phases — Route 736 to Weaver Road, should be done by the beginning of August, and Weaver to the Heritage entrance, which is scheduled to be completed by the beginning of October, depending on…

Warren Bumgarner on June 21, 1959 at the Marysville First United Methodist Church. He is retired from the Prudential Insurance Co. and she is retired from secretarial work and banking. They have three sons, Douglas (Cande), David and Daniel (Tara); five grandchildren, Justin, Megan (Joseph) Wolfe, Jacklyn, Liam and Maddie; and two great-grandchildren, Adrianna and Grayson Wolfe.
