She graduated from Miami Valley School of Nursing in Dayton. During her nursing career, she worked for Dr. Rodney Hurl, and in almost every department in Memorial Hospital ending her more than 25 years of service as an ER nursing supervisor. The Jonathan Alder School District continues to explore ways to deal with its lack of bus drivers. At a board of education meeting Monday night, Superintendent Gary Chapman said the need for more bus drivers to fill its vacant positions, left by a retirement and resignation, is still a concern for the district. An increase to water and sewer rates in Milford Center was apparently put in place before it was ever voted on. The Marysville High School stadium project has several construction companies working on it for a combined price of just more than $8.7 million. At a special meeting Wednesday morning, Marysville School District officials chose Altman Co. for the overall stadium work for $5.60 million.
