According to Marysville Police Department reports: Police responded to a civil issue in the 400 block of Triple Crown Way at 11:11 a.m. Thursday. The reporting person advised officers they wanted to make a report about marital property while going through a divorce. The Union County Fair has added a country musician Gary Allan to this year’s roster of entertainment. This morning, fair officials announced that Allan, a six-time Academy of Country Music Awards nominee, will perform Saturday, July 31 at the Union County Fair. The 2021 Union County Fair will be held July 25 through July 31. Board members have said it is important to return to normal for the fair, which is celebrating its 175th year. According to Plain City Police Department reports: An officer was advised of a minor non-injury crash at the Country Place Community Center on County Place Lane at 8:23 a.m. June 29. PCPD did not complete a crash report due to the incident occurring on private property. An officer met with a complainant at the police department on Village Blvd. at 12:30 p.m. June 29. Union County’s communities celebrated the nation’s Independence Day over the weekend. Above, Plain City hosted a parade as part of a day-long celebration which included live music, games, food trucks, bounce houses, face painting and fireworks at Pastime Park. Ruby L. Robinson, 83, of Milford Center died Thursday, July 1 at Monarch Care Center following many months of failing health. She was a long-time resident of Milford Center and a very giving person to both family and friends. She was also a long-time volunteer and instrumental in establishing The Clothes Closet in Milford Center, which later transitioned to the Hope Center in Marysville.
