Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of N. Court Street at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate an individual reported his bike was stolen from his residence. Evelyn Gene George Bidlack, 96, of Gahanna died peacefully Sunday afternoon, May 17, at her home with her daughter at her side following a few months of illness. She was retired from Macy’s (Lazarus) and during WWII, worked at Curtis-Wright in Columbus. She loved flower gardening, was always close to her canine companions and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. According to Marysville Police Department reports: John W. Foldi, 54, of N. Main Street was cited in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 12:46 p.m. Monday for disorderly conduct and failure to appear in court. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an earlier incident in which individuals observed a physical altercation behind 122 N. Main Street, near an officer on patrol. Residents at Memorial Gables Nursing Home were treated to a parade Friday. Members of the community drove around the roundabout entrance with signs and candy to give to spectators. Devan Fraley, 15, of Milford Center died unexpectedly Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. He was born Nov. 29, 2004 in Columbus. He attended Plain City Elementary School and Thomas Ewing Junior High School in Lancaster where he played youth basketball. He was currently a freshman at Fairbanks High School. Units from the Richwood Police Department, Northern Union County Fire and EMS District, Leesburg Township Fire Department, Liberty Township Fire Department and Scioto Valley Fire District responded to a barn fire at 12654 Mulvane Road at 12:57 p.m. Thursday. Northern Union County Chief Randy Riffle said the fire was accidentally caused by an agricultural burn after the wind blew sparks toward the barn, causing it to catch fire.
