Heritage Cooperative has announced the construction of two new grain silos, providing an additional 1.7 million bushels of grain storage, at the Marysville Ag Campus, 15090 Scottslawn Road. The $5-million project will consist of building two grain storage bins on the north side of the property, increasing the grain storage capacity to just under 5 million bushels. This additional storage will benefit Heritage growers in the Marysville area, as well as those in Kenton, Urbana, Upper Sandusky and other locations on the western side of Ohio. The Village of Plain City is encouraging residents to expand their spring cleaning efforts to the entire community. Plain City officials are hosting several events during Clean Up Week that will culminate with a prize drawing Saturday. Residents can pick up a trash bag from the Plain City Municipal Office, 800 Village Blvd., this week between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Community members should then pick up litter and fill their trash bags throughout the week. According to Marysville Police Department reports: Neil Alan Mullen, 30, of S. Plum Street was arrested for aggravated menacing in the 500 block of Milford Avenue. The arrest stemmed from an April 19 incident in which the victim reported that Mullen threatened to burn her house down.
