In the day and age of wanting immediate feedback, what’s it worth if you don’t act on it when possible? Today you will see a change to the masthead of the Marysville Journal-Tribune. This change will allow us to inkjet the subscriber mail labels at both printing plants that we use to better serve our subscribers who receive the newspaper through the post office. Elsie Elizabeth Boerger Kandel, age 99, of Marysville, died peacefully, Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Heritage Senior Living with family at her side. A cosmetologist, she was a beautician early in her career. She retired in 1984 from the Ohio Reformatory for Women where she was associated for 23 years. Elsie was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed her faith. The Plain City Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a workshop for community members interested in learning how to successfully plant trees. “Trees 101” will be hosted at the Cattle Barn shelter in Pastime Park, located across from the gazebo, at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6. His father Charles Edgar “Ted” Hall was a farmer; his mother Carrie Mae (Hickok) Hall was a music teacher. Noah B. Beachy, 78, of Nappanee, passed away on March 26, 2024, in Belize. Noah was born on March 24, 1946, to Eli W. Beachy and Barbara Mae Mullet Beachy in Plain City, Ohio. Noah graduated from Jonathan Alder High School in 1967. Noah had various occupations but most recently owned a cattle farm and realty business in Belize. Noah married Vera Beachy in April 1966.
