The Marysville High School girls swim team narrowly pulled out a win over Hilliard Davidson on Sunday at the Hilliard YMCA.  The Lady Monarchs tallied 87 points, to Davidson’s 80. Fairbanks’ girls basketball team dropped a 50-25 verdict at state-ranked West Liberty-Salem on Thursday. The Tigers are rated third in this week’s Associated Press Division III state poll. FHS led, 6-4, after the first period. The Tigers took an 18-13 advantage into halftime and a 34-17 margin into the final eight minutes of action. Marysville’s boys varsity hoop squad slipped to 2-5 on the season with Wednesday’s 57-44 setback at Olentangy. The Monarchs trailed 16-10 after the first quarter and 31-21 at halftime.
